The Sak Group was formed in 1979 by Roger Sakowski. The primary focus at that time was to provide publication services for emerging technologies. We developed the software for publishing these documents long before anything comparable was available to the graphic arts industry. Bell Laboratories recognized the potential of our achievements and bought our systems for its internal electronic and print publishing needs. Of course, we provided the training required to get these system up and running.

By 1992 training moved to the forefront of the services the Sak Group offers. The Java Programming Language became our focus in 1996 with its initial release. The scope of that focus has broadened since to encompass the role Java plays in Web and Enterprise technologies.

Today our goal is to offer the training necessary for IT organizations to realize the promise of Java and how it leverages legacy, Web and Enterprise landscapes.
